Participate in a Men’s Health Focus Group
The African Alliance of Rhode Island is looking for male participants to give their opinions about health and the health care system. Undocumented and uninsured men are seriously encouraged to participate.
– Must be of African descent. Migrated to the U.S.
– Have resided in the United States for 1-6 years.
– Be available on August 29, 2009
Qualified research participants receive:
– $25 compensation
– A chance to change the face of health
The focus group is part of the Prevention Block Grant (PBG). The project is aimed to gather information about what affects the health of Africans. By participating you are taking a proactive role in changing the interaction between health facilities and the African community. All participants’ information and status will be kept confidential.
