You may be eligible for free women’s health screenings.
The RI Department of Health, The Women’s Cancer Screening Program, and the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) want you to know that you may qualify for free women’s health exams and free mammograms!
– Live in Rhode Island
– Are over the age of 40
– Have no health insurance
– Fall below their “generous” income guidelines
– Do not have health insurance that covers breast exams, pelvic exams, pap tests, and mammograms.
Many locations throughout RI are participating, and the program includes transportation to visits, referrals and follow-up services. “Care enough to care for yourself.”
